The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
RayBotic GmbH, ITC 1, Ulrichsberger Str. 17, 94469 Deggendorf, Germany
Email: info@raybotic-ndt.com
No data protection officer has been appointed.
2. General information
The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, German Federal Data Protection Act). This privacy policy informs you about the type, scope, and purpose of the processing of personal data on this website.
This website is a static information site. No user accounts are maintained and no payment data is processed. We process personal data only when you contact us by email, and in technically necessary server log files when the website is accessed.
3. Hosting and server log files
3.1 What data is processed?
When this website is accessed, the web server automatically records information in what are known as server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are:
- IP address (shortened where applicable)
- date and time of the request
- page or file accessed
- browser type and version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
3.2 Purpose and legal basis
Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technical provision of the website, in ensuring the stability and security of the system, in detecting and preventing misuse and attacks, and in error analysis and fault resolution.
3.3 Storage period
Server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and are then deleted automatically.
Longer storage occurs only where there are specific indications of unlawful access or of a malfunction. In such cases, the log files may be stored for the duration of the investigation and for the preservation of evidence, but for no longer than 30 days.
3.4 Recipients / categories of recipients
The website is operated by RayBotic GmbH on its own infrastructure within the European Union. No external hosting provider is involved as a processor.
The log file data is not passed on to third parties and is not merged with other data sources.
3.5 Transfers to third countries
Server log files are processed exclusively on servers within the European Union. No transfer to third countries takes place.
3.6 Obligation to provide the data
Providing the data listed above when accessing the website is technically necessary in order to display the website and to ensure its security. Without the transmission of your IP address and the technical access data, the website cannot be provided. There is no statutory or contractual obligation to provide the data; it is transmitted automatically by your browser.
4. Contact by email
4.1 What data is processed?
If you contact us by email, the data you transmit is processed, in particular your email address, your name (if provided), the content of your message, and any further information you choose to share.
4.2 Purpose and legal basis
The processing serves to handle and respond to your enquiry. If your enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Otherwise, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in communicating with you pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4.3 Recipients / categories of recipients
Recipients of the data transmitted by email are our email service provider Zoho as a processor, and those departments within RayBotic GmbH responsible for handling your enquiry, such as sales and management.
The data is not passed on to third parties for advertising purposes.
4.4 Transfers to third countries
Our email service provider Zoho processes the data in data centres within the European Union. Where access from third countries occurs in the course of support, maintenance, or through sub-processors, this takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR, namely the European Commission's standard contractual clauses under the data processing agreement concluded with Zoho.
4.5 Storage period
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion. As a rule, emails are deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, and at the latest upon expiry of the statutory retention periods (generally 6 to 10 years after the end of the respective business transaction, where commercial or tax retention obligations apply).
4.6 Obligation to provide the data
Providing your email address and the information necessary for processing is required so that we can answer your enquiry. Without this data we cannot deal with your message in substance. There is no statutory obligation to provide it; it is provided voluntarily.
5. Inspection enquiries via the service widget
On the "Services" page you can use an interactive widget to assemble the key details of an inspection enquiry. On submission, your local email program is opened automatically with a prepared message addressed to info@raybotic-ndt.com.
No form data is processed or stored on our web server in this process. Data is transmitted to us solely by you sending the email yourself via your own email program. The information in section 4 applies to that email.
6. Cookies and audience measurement
This website uses no cookies. No third-party analytics or tracking services are used, and no data is passed on to third parties for advertising purposes. Fonts are also served from our own server; no connection to external providers is made.
Automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place.
6.1 Audience measurement with Matomo
We use the open-source software Matomo for the statistical analysis of website usage. Matomo runs on our own infrastructure within the European Union. The data collected does not leave our servers, no external service provider is involved, and no transfer to third countries takes place.
We have configured Matomo so that no cookies are set and no information is stored on or read from your terminal device. Your IP address is shortened by two bytes before being stored. Recognition across several page views is based solely on a pseudonymous identifier derived from the shortened IP address and general browser data, which is re-encrypted daily.
The following is recorded: the pages accessed, the time and duration of access, the referring page, browser type and operating system, the approximate region of origin, and the screen resolution.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the statistical analysis of website usage in order to improve our content and our offering. Since no information is stored on or read from your terminal device, no consent under Section 25 TDDDG is required for this use.
The data collected is deleted after 24 months.
You can object to the collection: Matomo respects the Do Not Track setting of your browser. If it is enabled, no data is collected.
7. Your rights
As a data subject you have the following rights:
- right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
An informal email to info@raybotic-ndt.com is sufficient to exercise your rights. Please note that in individual cases we may be legally obliged to continue storing data despite a request for erasure.
8. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR) if you consider that the processing of your personal data is unlawful. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
